Reading Allowed

A site specific live art happening using harvested text to create immersive performance.

Participants are asked to bring any writing they wish. Book, leaflet, newspaper or manual. Participants will see these texts used as stimuli for a live art happening. Any text of any type. Texts and books are placed in the space and used by a pair of multidisciplinary artists who theatrically respond to these given texts. Weaving together spoken word, song and soundscape Reading Allowed is an immersive experience, unique to the space, place and people of that moment.
